11 Awesomely Terrible Comic Book Movies

Alien vs. Predator

I don’t remember the details of the original comic, but I do know that the big screen adaptation is drenched in cheesy fun. It’s extremely reminiscent of a throwback Universal monster crossover, and realistically, it should be. The flick features stronger acting than some would like you to believe, and the special effects are also far more refined than most might anticipate. The Predators and the Xenomorphs spend plenty of time tearing each other part, which is quite appreciated. I know the film has a terrible rep, but in all honesty it’s one of the most entertaining comic transfer out there.

30 Days of Night: Dark Days

It’s nowhere near as amazing as the film franchise opener, but 30 Days of Night: Dark Days felt quite a bit more enjoyable than critics seemed to find it. There are a few who saw the beauty in the pic, but far analysts chewed this one up before spitting it back out. I don’t see the reason for that. The story is fairly strong, and there are a couple talented performers involved. The cinematography is also rather underrated. For a straight-to-disc flick with a sliced up budget, 30 Days of Night: Dark Days was a good time to be had.
